Welcome to the Beavers
For ages between 6 to eight years old
Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. At 1st Charmouth Scout Group this is youngest Section in our Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits, exploring and helping others. They usually meet together once a week during term time in a Beaver Scout Colony.
They also make the Beaver Scout Promise.

Charmouth Scouts Beaver colony is looking for more adult helpers so that it can accommodate more young Beavers. If you want to take part in the fun of Beaver Scouting, either your child as a Beaver or to find out more about being an Adult Leader or helper, please contact the Group Scout Leader.
